Highlight for Album: Rene Duval French Horn
Rene Duval French Horn
This Duval French Horn looks a little shabby with lots of worn spots and laquer missing, but it has a nice tone and plays well. It needs some new corks but is pretty quiet if kept well oiled, a typical problem with these mechanical connecting rod models, as opposed to the quieter string pull models. Notice the double circle tuning slide in the underside pictures, the F slide clipped in the lid of the case and the standing music holder (marching with a French Horn is a dreadful thing to do)
